Some creative projects linger.
Or fester, if you’re a pessimist.
Marinate, if you’re an optimist.
They require months or years of labor.
Others are conceived and born in a blink.
Born screaming, I should specify.
Covered in warts.
They simply couldn’t wait.
Samhain is one of those projects.
It is unlike any video I’ve made for this channel before.
My first foray into the realm of folk horror filmmaking.
(But to be sure, the majority of my projects here at Irish Myths will continue to be my usual mythological meanderings and textual adventures.)
